It’s the attack of the PADI ‘Pro Divers’ on 2 separate illegally discarded ‘Ghost Nets’ in Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park!

‘Ghost Nets’ are one of the most harmful pollutants in the seas and ocean. It’s both dangerous to the environment, as well as divers too, and why at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, our operations only allow professional divers or those in-training to be involved in any ‘Ghost Net’ removal dive.

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Azhar is assisted by 3 Go PRO internship candidates: Howell, Sean, and Vincent, who are currently completing their PADI Divemaster course. Our Go PRO team encourages all of our interns to contribute to marine conservation in such Project AWARE projects for the real diver experience of what is one of their duties as a ‘Pro Diver’ – protecting the marine environment!

For more information on conservation and outreach opportunities our Go PRO interns have the chance to be involved in, contact our Go PRO advisors.
