Daily life is made lively and energetic when our Adventure Groups visit our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre! And it will be especially so when over 300 young adventurers’ camp at our Gaya Island beach house very soon!
The 300-strong Adventure Group will be divided into smaller groups over several weeks, so it’s manageable for our island staff team and the student divers are provided the attention to receive our high standard in quality dive training.
Months of preparation are required for such programs and in the final days before the groups arrive our team set aside time to build another camp to ensure our facilities are in good repair to accommodate such a program.
For our local ‘Work For a Career’ PADI Divemaster Trainees, all work that goes into running a dive operation is valuable experience and this isn’t the first time they have had to set up a camping tent either, so with each time it’s easier and the end product is more polished because the job is completed more efficiently.
This is a similar learning curve to guiding divers once they have completed their PADI Divemaster qualification. With each experience, their skills of leadership and supervision skills will be improved and the emphasis on teamwork will be present because it will all become natural for them!
