Dive educators are, by nature, environmentalists; and our local Go PRO PADI Divemaster internship candidates contribute to marine health on a daily basis at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island!

After settling morning chores to assist our team of PADI Instructors with their days’ schedule, interns Azhar, Danny and Adam spend time collecting marine debris from the shoreline in front of our beach house.

The trio is currently completing our 1-year ‘Work For a Career’ program with the chance to qualify as a PADI professional, and learning the value of preserving the marine environment is one of the most important responsibilities a professional diver is required to adhere to by PADI standards!

They will note, as all candidates of the PADI Divemaster, when studying further into the PADI courses and programs – caring for the environment is a formal performance requirement!

Our Go PRO internship candidates are offered hands-on experience with active conservation, and our Go PRO team will encourage all to participate in beach and underwater clean ups, ‘ghost net’ removal dives, or coral re-planting projects!

Get in touch with our helpful Go PRO advisors in Sabah, Borneo, to create a detailed itinerary for you to become a PADI professional under the experienced direction of our Go PRO teams’ instruction!
