Our Go Pro candidates are so fortunate to have chosen Downbelow Marine and Wildlife’s professional scuba diving internships, which offer real ‘Pro Diver’ experience!
When learning a totally new skill and mastering it, any student diver, even in a professional-level course will be given a controlled situation for educational purposes. Once they have fully mastered the skill, will they be evaluated by our team of PADI Instructors on their use of such skills in real scuba diving situations.
Today Marcin (one of our GoPro candidates) is assessed by our two PADI Instructors Pablo and Timmy, who are conducting our 1-day ‘Try Dive’ PADI Scuba Diver program in front of our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. A PADI Divemaster candidate will have had to compete several of the performance requirements before reaching the workshops to assist on courses and programs.
Candidates need to have already experienced and mastered the skills of mapping a dive site, successfully complete the search and recovery scenario, as well as practise delivering dive and snorkel briefings.
Lucky for Marcin and our other Divemaster interns, we have groups from UK-based schools and colleges with Camps International arriving to learn SCUBA for the first time ever, which will give them plenty of real diving experience to build their confidence as professionals!
Get in touch with our Go PRO advisors for more information on the real dive experiences included in our highly successful Go PRO internship programs in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!
