Such an amazing time with Downbelow! I recently finished up a 30 day divemaster internship with the company and I can’t thank them enough for making my month here one I will never forget! Being as it was my first time going to live abroad I was considerably nervous. As I googled scuba internships I came across downbelow and was hooked from the second i received an email back from the lovely Alice! Sure within seconds you get a company generated email saying they will be in touch soon and you think that might be all you will hear! But sure enough in what was prob less then 12 hours, you recieve a lovely email personalized just for me! With answers to all my questions and prices tendered to whatever you are looking for! After several emails and arranging the course and payments which all went smoothly, Alice still never hesitated to answer any of my nervous traveler questions and I had quite a few! 🙂 Also let me add that Alice had called me at my hotel upon my arrival (900pm) nice to know someone is thinking of you even outside of their office hours! The office staff is such a lovely group of people. After all the planning finally I arrived and things kicked off right away for me as i had a lot to accomplish going from open water to divemaster! The staff at the island dive center is AWESOME! Everyone is truly so friendly and kind! Richard (owner) is Hard working and passionate about his business! He also likes to have a good laugh and is always smiling! He makes sure you truly get the most out of your course with proper Experience and education! I could probably go on for hours about the staff as by the time i left it felt like i knew these people for months. Not just 30 days! Paul is also passionate, patient, and very knowledgable! He was my instructor for my advanced course and truly was just lovely! Roy for making me laugh everyday! Honestly everyone is just great! Its an exceptional company. I would and will recommend it to everyone! If I’m lucky I will try to return to do my idc with the company! Thank you all! You will all be missed! But I hope to return one day!
