Why not start to make steps to Go PRO? If you’re flying into Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, like Pilot James, take up some PADI diver education to work towards being a professional diver!

James is a commercial airline pilot living in Hong Kong, who regularly visits our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre in Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park, and he’s beginning his PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

For the course, PADI Staff Instructor Tim Tam encourages his student to opt for the PADI Search and Recovery Specialty as well, which will credit towards the Advanced qualification and the PADI Divemaster performance requirements. James has expressed how he would like to advance to become a professional diver, and our dive operations offer convenient Go PRO internship programs with the highest standards in diver safety and professional diver training.

He’s getting all the best advice from two of our current internship candidates, Jed and Iman, who are almost complete with their own 1-month professional scuba diving program to certify as PADI Divemasters themselves!

Jed and Iman have become close friends throughout their time completing the dive training required of qualifying, and they’re also planning to take advantage of our special discount for candidates to experience other travel and tours packages we offer at our Sabah Travel Centre, such as climbing Mount Kinabalu – we highly recommend for you both to complete the worlds’ highest via Ferrata circuit: Lows’ Peak!
