Choosing to Go PRO with Downbelow in the protected TAR Park is an experience of a lifetime, in which candidates truly live the diving dream during the length of their professional scuba diving internship.
At our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, PADI Master Instructor Paul Jones briefs a group of 12 students from Dubai International school travelling around Sabah to discover the natural biodiversity of Borneo.
For a day of snorkelling with our experienced PADI professionals, the students will learn about the marine biodiversity within the parameters of the protected marine park. Go PRO interns learn about the local natural environment too during their professional scuba diving internship program, which can be 1 month or even longer, so they become very familiar with dive sites, marine life and the daily operations of our Dive Centre too!
For those completing our award-winning PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), their Go PRO team counsellors and advisors will encourage some time for leisure diving and dive leadership experience before the IDC officially begins. Adventure groups on our Expedition Borneo program, or from schools and universities for their conservation and outreach purposes, frequently visit our beach house! Downbelow’s Go PRO team always urge candidates to assist our team of experienced PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors to conduct the various island activities, from snorkelling to the first professional level: PADI Divemaster course.
