The PADI Instructor Examination (IE) is conducted by PADI Instructor Examiners and is a standardized, objective evaluation of successful PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) candidates.
Successfully passing the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) qualifies you to be evaluated in the next Instructor Examination (IE) and after passing this evaluation, you will be successful in becoming a fully qualified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.
The IE is run over 2 days during which a PADI Asia Pacific appointed IE examiner tests candidates: teaching abilities, dive theory knowledge and dive skills, understanding of the PADI System, attitude and professionalism.
We schedule our IDC’s to end just before the IE begins so that training is still fresh and our candidates are well prepared.

As a qualified OWSI you can teach a variety of PADI experience programs and courses: the Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue and Divemaster courses in addition to the Peak Performance Buoyancy, AWARE Coral Reef Conservation and Project AWARE Specialty courses.
