Inspiring commitment to Project AWARE is one of the most worthy responsibilities in a professional scuba diving career!
Simply organising a beach clean up is so effective for our Instructors to inspire those young adventurers’ to learn about the importance of protecting and preserving our marine environment. Collecting marine debris, such as plastic (a massive problem in our local area of Kota Kinabalu), from the shorelines of Gaya Island around our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, benefits the environmental health!
When on the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), knowledge development presentations are assigned by our Go PRO team that will cover topics in various environmental-conscious PADI courses, such as PADI Project AWARE Specialty, PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Specialty or PADI AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty.
Those Go PRO interns successfully completing their PADI Instructor Examination (IE) following our award winning IDC will be prepared from the practise of delivering conservation-based topics; they will notice such benefit when conducting the PADI Open Water Diver course for their own student divers in future, and encourage their novice students to continue their dive education and care for the environment simultaneously.
Get more details about our Go PRO internship programs to include the IDC when you get in touch with the experienced advisors of our Downbelow HQ in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah!
