Instructors need to teach their passion in diving!

Posted 29 Jul 2014

A PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor may conduct the courses and programs of the PADI system of dive education, however they will need to be assessed to certify student divers in specialized avenues of scuba diving.

There are a variety of disciplines that many dive educators are genuinely passionate about, particularly popular ones such as, underwater photography.

Teaching PADI Specialties offers an added sense of reward, but to do so the PADI Instructor must meet the levels’ pre-requisites and then apply for the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating!

This level in the professional ranks of the PADI system is valuable to both Go PRO diver and their employer, as it indicates the experience of teaching, and more importantly: teaching with passion!

Strike is one of our Instructor Development Course (IDC) Staff Instructors and a member of our Go PRO team of PADI Instructor Trainers conducting for one of our international clients the PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. Even after all his years of experience in the instructional field, Strike never tires imparting his wisdom to benefit his student divers’ confidence!
