On the group deck of our Gaya Island beach house in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, the 8th group of UK-based Gap Year adventurers’ from Camps International listen to one of our PADI Instructors’ Pablo as he introduces the basics of scuba diving!
Before any in-water activity, a briefing on the underwater experience is delivered with educational slates provided by PADI. Our Gap Year adventurers’ will be achieving the PADI Open Water Diver qualification during their time camping on the island. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving flip chart is a great way to introduce the first of the confined water dives and is used to present the necessary information to best prepare the group.
There are different methods of teaching a PADI course or program, which offers more flexibility for the PADI Instructor, as well as their student diver! The PADI system of dive education offers various learning methods to encourage dive education. The curriculum of the Instructor Development Course (IDC) will teach the available options PADI offers to learn diving and continue to do so!
For more details on our IDC, contact our Head Office where one of our helpful and friendly members of staff can integrate your IDC with one of our highly successful Go PRO internship programs to include every convenience to become a Go PRO diver in Borneo!
