Marine conservation is a shared passion amongst our island staff team of PADI professionals at our Gaya Island PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre in Sabah, Borneo!

Visitors to our beach house are also inspired to contribute during their island activity, and our popular 1-day snorkel safari program is the perfect avenue for our guests to volunteer to marine protection & conservation.

GoPRO intern Maria who has recently completed her Instructor Development Course (IDC) with our Go PRO team on an individually created professional diving internship program. Today, Maria assists our full time and dedicated PADI Instructor Vic to supervise our clients on their program, and to the high standards of safety that our dive operations are renowned for. They will invite our guests to collect any marine debris they find when visiting the different snorkeling sites in Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park.

It’s one of the most important responsibilities of dive educators’ to educate about the benefits of protecting our seas and oceans, inspire the public to gain an appreciation for our natural environment and contribute to marine conservation.

Get in contact with one of our GoPRO advisors in Borneo to discuss a suitable GoPRO internship program and be a marine activist and a dive Instructor too!
