PADI Divemaster Leanne needs to rescue first…her PADI Instructor, Azhar, in a PADI Rescue Diver course scenario!

The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the pre-requisites to enrol on the first professional scuba diving level of PADI Divemaster, as well as: Emergency First Response, PADI Advanced Open Water and PADI Open Water too. Other requirements needed are to be medically evaluated for diving within the last 12 months, 40 logged dives and be at least 18 years old. Experienced Go PRO advisors will recommend a certain timeframe for their personalised Go PRO internship program to complete the performance requirements to achieve their goals. An intern can potentially work their way from the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course to our Go PRO teams’ award winning PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)!

There are many benefits to becoming a ‘Pro Diver’ under our internships too, such as unlimited scuba diving and discounts on dive travel, such as to world class destination on the east coast – Sipadan Island! Past interns have particularly enjoyed staying at the luxury Sipadan Mabul Resort SMART, which is on Mabul Island and one of two of the closest islands to the Sipadan dive site!

Get more details on the various benefits we offer, such as discounts on dive equipment from our Kota Kinabalu Dive Shop, and Go PRO with Downbelow in Sabah, Borneo!
