Conducting any island activity for a group of participants or students seems challenging just because of the number of people involved, although the ratio of student to Instructor will be conservative to maintain our high standard of diver safety anyways.
Each year, several groups of young adventurers’ travel the beautiful state of Sabah under our very popular ‘Expedition Borneo’ program to learn more about the lifestyle, traditions and cultures of Borneo. The PADI Open Water Diver course is an activity that they have the chance in qualifying as entry-level divers (or for those already certified, continuing their diver education is also an option!)
Go PRO interns are always encouraged to be involved as much as possible in assisting and observing our PADI Instructors conduct their course. The diving community is made of recreational divers who are social and helpful, as are professional divers. All Instructors develop their instructional skills and confidence through the observation of their mentors – and within a 1-month professional scuba diving program, our Go PRO interns will develop themselves the same way!
Get more information on what other benefits we include in our Go PRO internship program when you contact our Kota Kinabalu HQ.
