For some divers, recreational and professional alike, skills need refreshing due to a lapsed time of any diving activity. This isn’t just underwater skills and comfort, but also dive theory knowledge too!
For a professional diver, keeping up-to-date with current trends in the dive industry is a PADI standard that must be adhered to upon agreeing to the terms of professional membership!
PADI Instructor Vic conducts the PADI Scuba Review for his client who has no recent dive experience since the entry-level PADI Open Water many years ago, and in that time PADI Standards of the Open Water have changed and they will continue to do so. Changes in PADI Standards are to improve dive safety, and Vic will introduce any new skills since his students’ certification in the entry-level course.
Maria assists Vic as a means of preparation for her professional training to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor herself on our next Instructor Development Course (IDC). Maria is completing one of our Go PRO internship programs to include the PADI Divemaster and the IDC, in which there is plenty of time for her to catch up with new dive theory developments since her own PADI dive education!
A Go PRO internship at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island offers comprehensive professional dive training by experiencing the real dive lifestyle! Contact one of our helpful members of staff to receive a personalized itinerary for you to Go PRO in Borneo!
