Resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann conducts a morning session with our full time and dedicated ‘Work for a Career’ PADI Divemaster Trainees on the deck of our Gaya Island Dive Centre.
Azhar, Danny and Adam recently began their journey as professional divers, and their mentor Richard knows how important it is to provide a supportive environment for them to thrive!
The three boys are local Go PRO internship candidates who will work alongside their colleagues to gain experience of the real dive lifestyle. By assisting and observing our experienced team of PADI professionals, they will emulate the professional role-model behavior that is expected of a dive educator.
PADI Standards outlines the Code of Practice, which is a list of obligations that must be adhered to by professional members of the PADI dive training organization.
Richard will no doubt insist the three soon-to-be PADI Divemasters devote themselves to their PADI Instructor Manual because when the time comes for them to continue their professional dive education to become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors, it will make all the difference to their confidence!
