On the PADI Open Water Diver course, a student diver must learn one of three dive planning methods.
During an Instructor Development Course (IDC), candidates need to know how to use all 3 methods; the recreational dive planner (RDP) table version, the electronic RDP with multilevel planning mode and basic settings of a dive computer!
Teaching entry-level student divers dive planning effectively needs a consultation between the Instructor and the student diver for best results of learning. Because dive planning is an intellectual skill, the candidates will deliver knowledge development presentations in the multimedia classroom facilities at our Head Office on Kota Kinabalu mainland. The classroom is equipped with the latest and updated PADI educational materials, an overhead projector with sound system and lots of training tools close by in our Dive Shop, just next door!
Contact our Head Office to enrol on our next IDC in Sabah, Borneo! Our experienced and helpful staff will create a suitable itinerary for you to complete the IDC in one of our convenient Go PRO internship programs!
