Teaching children SCUBA is one of the most rewarding teaching experiences for many dive educators, and is Downbelow recommended!

The PADI Instructor team of our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, always have a wonderful time teaching the younger generation for the many benefits such an experience provides!

Latest Go PRO interns of our professional scuba diving internship program, Patrik and Anna from Sweden, spend a day snorkelling with an adventure group from Dubai International School. The couple will be assisting our team of PADI Instructors conducting our 1-day Snorkel Safari program. They will evaluate the Go PRO intern couples’ level of supervision and control of the excitable group of children, as interns are always under their guidance and watchful eye of our Instructors.

It’s a personal choice for Instructors to teach children; because it is a known fact that children are not as mature as an adult, and for that reason it’s a debate within the diving community whether children should be allowed to learn SCUBA at all.

PADI Standards are clearly set out to teach children SAFE scuba diving within their limits. And to inspire children at a young age the benefits of protecting our marine environment through educational programs is the most effective learning method for children!

Our Sabah Travel Centre are always creating personalised programs, for groups to explore Kota Kinabalu and Sabah, that are focused on a unique education about our natural environment.

Get in touch with our Kota Kinabalu HQ, to discuss with our Go PRO advisors about other opportunities to gain teaching experience in our professional scuba diving internships!
