The answer is a resounding ‘yes’! Underwater photography is a discipline many divers have a passion for, such as our resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann, who believes living the diving dream is to ‘teach what I love about diving’!
One of our dedicated PADI IDC Staff Instructors Tim shares his knowledge and experience with PADI Advanced Open Water Diver students Michael and Kerry from the UK. They are also integrating the PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty, and included in their dive training is rental of one of our Canon cameras from our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island.
Dominik follows along on the course to observe Tim’s conduct for his own instructional experience in his future dive career. Dominik travelled to various dive destinations before arriving at our dive operations to complete his PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), and now shadowing one of his Go PRO team mentors, all the dive experience he has is valuable to his teaching Tim’s students. Throughout his dive career in future, Dominik will find a lot of career satisfaction to share his firsthand knowledge with a dive discipline that he is passionate about, such as underwater photography!
