What PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors teach their students is the basic skills of SAFE scuba diving!
Go PRO intern Maria teaches one of our ‘Work for a Career’ PADI Divemaster Trainees at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre. Chris will be qualified in the entry-level PADI Open Water in 3-4 days with his PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor!
Maria completed one of our Go PRO internship programs to include the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), which she finished recently, and is now beginning to ‘dip her toes’ in the highly competitive industry of dive instruction! To start with, Maria remembers from her professional-level courses that, she must assess Chris’ diver readiness before any in-water activity. Maria will conduct an initial session of dive theory to gain the necessary knowledge development to progress. Both practical dive skills, as well as the dive theory, have a sequence to follow and must be adhered to according to PADI standards. With each level of diver education, Chris will notice the progression of dive skills and dive theory develops from simple to challenging – until he is a Divemaster!
