The PADI Instructor Exam (IE) involves a 2-day standardised and objective evaluation conducted by an appointed PADI examiner on the performance of those candidates enrolled.

At Downbelow, we are once again elated to announce: all of our internship candidates on the Go PRO teams’ recent award winning PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), successfully proved their readiness to be qualified as PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors when they passed their final assessment at the Kota Kinabalu PADI Instructor Examination on June 11th-12th!

Now the 8 of them will take a well deserved break from their intense professional diver training of the past few weeks, and several of them are going to dive the world class destination – Sipadan Island, on Sabah’s eastern coast!

Upon their return, they will be refreshed for another internship program to continue their education to work toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating! There’s a definite chance of certifying the 25 divers they need to achieve their goal to apply for the MSDT rating because our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre will be welcoming waves of students from the UK all summer (so roughly for the next 10 weeks!)looking to learn scuba diving on the PADI Open Water Diver course!
